Calmar Secondary School is committed to providing quality and affordable education and exceptional learning environments for our students.
In order to offer enhanced educational opportunities for students, fees are established to offset the additional costs incurred. The fee schedule can be viewed by clicking the “Student Fees” button below.
Should your family be experiencing financial difficulties, please make an appointment with the Principal to discuss the situation and possible alternative solutions.
We use a fee management system called Rycor to streamline school and transportation fee payment processes for families and school administrators. Acorn is accessible through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. With a few simple mouse clicks families can view assessed fees, print receipts and account statements, and pay for all of their children in a single transaction.
If you are a family with several children at multiple schools, they will all appear together under your account.
Please refer to the Online Payment Parent User Guide for instructions on how to log into the PowerSchool Parent Portal and pay school fees online.
You will need a PowerSchool Parent account. If you currently have an account, you will use the same username and password to login to the Rycor Online Payments website.
If you do not have a PowerSchool Parent account, please contact your school for information on how to set up an account.
You can pay with Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard, and Interac Online Debit
Fees for optional courses, transportation fees for ineligible students, activity fees (field trips), extra-curricular fees and non-curricular travel are all examples of fees that can be paid online. Payments for sale of school items such as yearbooks and school “spirit wear” can also be made online.

Parents may apply for a waiver of certain student fees in cases where they are unable to pay the fees due to financial hardship.
If you are experiencing financial hardship and wish to request a waiver of school fees, complete and sign Form 505-1 Waiver of School Fees Application. The application form is to be placed in an envelope marked “Confidential – Waiver of School Fees” and submitted to your school’s Principal.
The decision whether or not school fees will be waived is the responsibility of the Principal.
For more information on Student Fees please refer to Administrative Procedure 505 – Student Fees.
