Congratulations Graduating Class of 2011!

Grad 2011 was a fantastic, classy and very prestigious celebration of our Grade 12 class.  Grads can be proud of the event they organized.  Grads really represented themselves with the utmost class.

Finals!

With only a week and a half of regular classes remaining, students should be spending a bit of time every day reviewing and preparing for final exams.  It is not a good idea to leave it all until the last minute.  This is the time of the year when we want to focus on getting the marks as high as possible.  These are the transcripts and marks that remain on the permanent record.

What a year!  First – thank you to the community of Calmar, staff and students.  The transition to Calmar Secondary School has been excellent.  I am continually impressed by what a great bunch of students we have.

• ·         All grade 12’s are on par to graduate.  Well done!

• ·         High school students have risen to the top in the number of credits earned.

• ·         Provincial Champion in Skills Canada and a Bronze Medal in Nationals in Quebec City.  Congratulations Trevor.

• ·         Very high marks in the competition for the Valedictorian Award.

• ·         Amazing drama productions

• ·         Dare to Care moving to Student Leadership “Students Unite”

• ·         Parent Council, staff collaboration in Handbook Development

• ·         Upgraded web design
